This week sees a number of exciting fashion events taking place around Dublin for Better Fashion Week. From Wednesday the 18th until Sunday the 22nd, Dublin will be celebrating all things sustainable in the fashion industry. Better Fashion Week aims to explore issues in the industry, such as the boundaries and adversities which it faces, as well as celebrating ways to tackle them. Check out some of the exclusive events taking place with industry insiders. Wether you’re an aspiring designer, a budding stylist or simply just a lover of all things fashion, there’s something for everyone!

Wednesday sees talks from those in the know in the industry, such as designer Eilis Boyle and fashion activist Andrea Crews from 7-9pm at The Fitzwilliam hotel.

Thursday evening, kicks off with a fashion mentoring session with industry moguls, such as stylist Aisling Farinella, designer Peter O’Brien and Stellar’s own fashion editor, Corina Gaffey. This takes place in the Sugar Club from 6.30-8.30pm. The mentoring session is followed by a fashion discussion with exciting speakers such as designer Simone Rocha and R.T.E’s Sonya Lennon from 9-10.30pm.

Friday there will be an ethical guide to textiles and the market from 10am-12pm with Gill Gledhil.

If you’re not worn out by on the fashion goings-on,  head along to Andrea Crews, along with 20 top creatives from Dublin will be taking place in a live design challenge at Pygmalion from 4-8pm on Saturday.
